No account needed to start. You can begin right away and your progress saves automatically in your browser. If you want to access your story from another device or save it long-term, a free account syncs everything to the cloud, start on your phone, finish on a computer.

What types of artwork or drawings can I upload?

Any drawing works: crayon, marker, pencil, watercolor, or a photo of something 3D they built or made. The AI works with all styles and skill levels. Files should be under 5MB in JPEG, PNG, or GIF format.

What if my child's drawing is unclear or messy?

Messy drawings work fine. The AI is built for kids' art at any skill level, scribbles included. If the result isn't quite right, add a short description of what the drawing is meant to be (like 'this is a purple dragon with wings') and regenerate. You can keep adjusting until it looks the way you want.

Can I choose the reading level and story length?

Yes. During setup you pick from 3 reading levels. All books are 30 pages. Level 1 (preschool, ages 3–4) uses simple sentences. Level 2 (early readers, ages 5–6) adds more vocabulary and sentence variety. Level 3 (independent readers, ages 7–8) uses paragraphs with more complex vocabulary. The AI adjusts everything based on the level you pick.

Can I edit the AI-generated story and illustrations?

Yes. After the AI generates the story, you can edit the text and change the title. If the character design isn't right, describe what you want changed and the AI will try again. You stay in control throughout.

What if I don't like how the AI character looks?

Accepted Answer

Regenerate as many times as you need. Give the AI specific feedback, 'make the hair curlier,' 'add glasses,' 'change the color to blue', and it will create a new version. You can also edit the character description directly to get the look you're after.

Can I include multiple children or siblings in one story?

Each book is built around one main character from one drawing. You can mention siblings or other characters in the story by editing the text after generation, or make a separate book for each child. Multi-character stories are something we're working on.

Yes. If you need a physical book for a specific date, order at least 2 weeks out to allow for production and delivery. For last-minute gifts, the digital version downloads right after purchase.
